Guild conquest guide

Guild conquest is the weekly tournament for the cities of Legends of Hina. Guilds sign up for a city, their fighters battle through a bracket, and the last guild standing owns the city for the week and sets the tax on its shop sales. This guide explains every step.

The weekly schedule

Every city runs its own conquest each week, on a fixed UTC schedule:

  • Saturday 00:00 to Sunday 00:00 UTC: sign-ups are open. The guild leader enters the guild for one city.
  • Sunday 00:00 UTC: sign-ups close and the whole bracket resolves at once. There is nothing to be online for; the battles use each fighter's live stats and gear at that moment.
  • The following week: the winning guild owns the city until the next conquest resolves.

The in-game calendar marks every conquest weekend, so you can see the next one coming.

Signing up

Only the guild leader can enter a conquest, and a guild can enter for one city per week. Pick the city whose tax or prestige you want most: entering one rules out the rest for that week, and a guild that wins a new city gives up any city it held before.

Choosing the roster

A roster holds up to ten fighters. The leader can hand-pick them, or leave the roster empty and the guild sends its ten highest-level members automatically. Anyone who has left the guild by the time the battles start is dropped from the roster.

The bracket

Every guild that signed up for a city goes into a single-elimination bracket. Each round pairs the remaining guilds at random; with an odd number, one guild gets a bye and goes through untouched. Winners move on until one guild is left.

If only one guild signs up for a city, it takes the city without a fight. Brackets are public, so you can see who beat whom and replay the battles afterwards.

How a battle is fought

A conquest match is a relay. Both rosters line up from lowest level to highest, so a guild's newest members open the fight. When a fighter falls, the next one in line steps in against the same, already damaged opponent, and nobody heals between duels. The guild whose last fighter is still standing wins the match.

That makes depth matter as much as the strongest player: a long roster of well-geared members wears down a guild that relies on one hero. Guild bonuses to attack and defence apply to every fighter, so investing in them pays off here.

What the winner gets

The winning guild owns the city for the week and appears as its owner in the city. Its leader can set a sales tax of up to 10% on the city's shop sales, changed at most once every 24 hours, and the guild collects what that tax brings in.

Holdings reset every week, so a city is never safe: the owner has to win it again in the next conquest.

Getting ready

  • Level your members and gear them. Every fighter on the roster counts, not just the first.
  • Raise your guild's attack and defence bonuses before the weekend.
  • Think about who lasts: tough builds such as Guardians and Paladins survive more of a relay. The classes guide lists what each build does.
